The Medicine Hat Cubs played Airdrie on Friday and after the last game many players felt daunted by the task. But after going down by one goal the Cubs came roaring back to take the lead in the first period with Erb and Martinuk flexing the twine. In the second Lanz added a safety marker and the Cubs never looked back. Stehr was outstanding in net with a 40 save performance. Cubs have a rest now before meeting Cochrane next weekend.
